(He/Him)
About Nick
Nick is a Clinical Social Worker in Utah. Nick’s life experience has shown him that every person is unique and holds many different identities. He believes we are all the authors of our own stories and often already hold the answers to many of the questions we’re asking. Sometimes, we just need a bit of support to help us see them. Nick spent his early years traveling and working in different corners of the U.S., seeking adventure and new experiences. He’s passionate about connecting with new people and learning from them while building trust and mutual respect along the way. In the ongoing search for balance in life, Nick also enjoys long days in the mountains with friends, quiet nights trying a new recipe, exploring a new foreign city, and catching live music.
Nick’s Philosophy
Nick is a therapist who values real connection, honest conversation, and a collaborative approach to change. He has over a decade of experience supporting individuals in navigating life’s challenges, building insight, and making meaningful, sustainable shifts.
His style is warm, grounded, and straightforward. Nick approaches therapy as a space for people to be fully themselves and explore what’s working, what’s not, and what might need to change. He works from a strengths-based perspective, trusting that each person already holds insight and resilience, even if it feels hard to access. His role is to help clients reconnect with those parts of themselves and support them in making changes that feel doable and real.
Nick works with people navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, navigating grief, and identity development. Nick believes in working with the “here and now” while supporting clients in their day to day journey of existing in a world that often feels difficult and overwhelming. He is also trained in EMDR and recognizes how our past is connected to our present, often creating negative belief systems that impact us everyday. He is attuned to how larger systems and lived experiences shape our mental health. Nick is an LGBTQ+ affirming clinician who approaches therapy through the lens of Minority Stress Theory and Social Constructionism. He believes therapy should offer something practical whether it’s a new perspective, a shift in approach, or a clear next step.
