Clinicians

Our therapists take a proactive and compassionate approach. There are no cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all scripts here. We let our client’s needs direct the best type and course of therapy in order to provide support.

Our job is to create a safe container for our clients’ unique and intersectional needs, and to guide them through radical vulnerability toward empowerment.

About Halina

Halina studied Anthropology and Studio Art at Santa Clara University from 2003-2007. Here she enjoyed studying ancient cultures and portraying such early lifestyle cultures in her artwork. Her art would often analyze themes of social injustice and systemic oppression of marginalized identities. Shortly after graduating, Halina moved to Jackson, Wyoming to live closer to the mountains and pursue her dream to become a professional snowboarder. Achieving this dream led her all over the world, including a scouting trip to Nepal for a snowboarding film in 2016. While in Nepal, Halina became inspired to pursue her passion for helping people through empowerment work.

Shortly after returning home, Halina began researching graduate school programs and opportunities to manifest her interests in serving the needs of her local community.

Halina’s Philosophy

Halina graduated from Northwestern University in August 2021 with a master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in Idaho. Utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, multicultural, and polyvagal theories to guide her work with clients, Halina is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and Synergetic Play Therapy. She enjoys working with a wide range of presenting concerns including PTSD, Complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, developmental trauma, and adjustment to life transitions. Halina also enjoys working with a wide range of identities including individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+, multicultural identities, and clients of all ages ranging from kiddos and adolescents to adults and late adulthood. Halina approaches her work with clients from a comprehensive and holistic perspective, tailoring treatment to the specific and unique needs of each client.

About Colleen

Colleen works with adolescents and adults navigating life transitions, stress, and obstacles to personal growth. Colleen draws from cognitive behavioral therapies and integrates mindfulness-based strategies to help clients meet challenges with greater awareness, flexibility, and resilience. Colleen also supports parents and loved ones of individuals experiencing anxiety or OCD by offering evidence-based ways to respond with care and support, while reducing patterns that may unintentionally reinforce anxiety.

When not working, you can find Rachel, their partner, and their pup Ollie connecting with community or the natural world through mountain biking, hiking and mountain running, skiing, bird watching, and floating rivers.

Rachel’s Philosophy

Rachel is passionate about healing in relationship to the clients they work with, knowing we all have innate wisdom that sometimes needs to be just held and witnessed. She is especially drawn to working with her community of Queer and Neurodivergent folks who are navigating the challenges of living their lives authentically. They bring warmth, curiosity, playfulness, and compassion to their work. Rachel wants to support you in following your own wisdom and challenge the power structures that can be inherent in counselor-client relationships.

Understanding that we experience the world through our bodies and nervous systems, Rachel works with you to explore learned patterns and develop tools for regulation to find new ways of being and experiencing the world. They are trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR Trauma-Informed Stabilization (TIST), Internal Family Systems, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Synergetic Play Therapy.
